Canales Furniture World Cup $1M Free Furniture Offer
Earlier this month, more than 320 families across Texas and Oklahoma took part in Canales Furniture’s Magic Minute. Customers who made qualifying purchases between June 4 and June 10 were eligible to receive a full refund if both Mexico and the USA scored within the first 15 minutes of their World Cup opening matches. In a jaw-dropping sequence of events, both teams defied the odds and scored their respective goals, resulting in a historic moment: free furniture for our customers.
In total, approximately $1 million in furniture purchases qualified for a refund, making this Canales Furniture’s most exciting moment we’ve ever shared with our customers. For many families, the refund came at a time when it could make the biggest difference. It was an opportunity to pay bills, to put toward a family vacation, future expenses, or invest in their children’s needs. Regardless of how they chose to use it, the refund provides a welcome surprise that few expected when they first walked through our doors.
One customer, Gloria, shared her excitement when she learned she had won: "Estoy agradecida con Dios primero y agradecida con Canales porque me gané este premio..." ("I'm grateful to God first, and I'm grateful to Canales because I won this reward.") Her reaction reflected what many customers felt when they learned that both Mexico and the United States had scored, making them eligible for a full refund. What started as a normal furniture shopping trip became a gift that many families never planned on receiving.
The excitement continued as customers began to pick up their refund checks and shared what the surprise meant to them. Mrs. Mendoza, who received $3,568.94 back on her purchase, couldn't contain her excitement, saying, "I got $3,500 back, I'm so excited!" Another customer, Martha, received an incredible $6,466.50 refund, turning her furniture purchase into a moment she and her family will never forget.
