Highlights from the 2024 Small Business Showcase
As we get closer to the second half of 2025, it’s time to reflect on the fantastic initiative that took place last year in our East Arlington community: Small Business Promotion Week. Sponsored by us, Canales Furniture!
In 2024, the City of Arlington made an effort to shine a spotlight on the importance of small businesses. The city recognized the vital role they play in our local economy and the unique perspective they bring to our neighborhoods. Canales Furniture was able to take part in celebrating the business that made Arlington shine by boosting their visibility and encouraging community support.
Throughout 2024, ten deserving East Arlington businesses were featured, offering a wonderful opportunity for all of us to discover (or perhaps become even more familiar with) some truly special places and the passionate individuals behind them.
This initiative wasn't just a fleeting moment; it was a strategic effort by the City to foster a vibrant and thriving local economy. By actively promoting these businesses throughout the year, the City aimed to:
