Back in 2003, our founder Veronica Canales embarked on a journey to open her first Canales Furniture store. With her vision and guidance, we have been able to leave our mark across all of DFW. These achievements came full circle when we opened the doors to our largest location to date, our headquarters. The facility encompasses our vital distribution hub, modern corporate offices, and our breathtaking retail showroom.
We remember not only the unveiling of the building, but the years of dedication and unwavering commitment poured in by the entire Canales family. Our leader Veronica Canales is the hallmark of a true leader as she has taught the rising women in her family how to be a success. It is with the strength of family that the opening of our Legacy location is a huge achievement.
It's a moment worth cherishing, knowing the pivotal role our own Mayor Jim Ross played in ensuring this incredible achievement remained within our city. The thought that the Canales family, with their deep roots here, had considered opportunities in Dallas, Houston, or even beyond our borders in Mexico, makes their decision to stay and further invest in Arlington all the more meaningful. It speaks volumes about their connection to our community and the collaborative spirit that defines us.
The expansion was more than just about beautiful furniture; it was (and continues to be) about the future we're building together. As we look back on this momentous occasion, let’s take a moment to celebrate the enduring success we continue to build right here in Arlington, our cherished home.
